President: Mr. Louie Butler

Mr. Butler has been involved with Baseball all of his life! He started with youth baseball in 1968 and has been with Babe Ruth baseball since 1972 (ages 13 through 18). He transitioned into Bambino (Cal Ripken) baseball in 1983 (ages 4 through 12). He has Coached at the Middle School level and was the Head Baseball Coach and Girls Basketball Coach at Fremont High School and Co- founder of E.B.Y.A.A. He serves on many professional boards as an elected Officer and has been in Babe Ruth as a Vice President and Board Member since 1988-1989, Oakland Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Board 2005-2007. He was then elected President of Oakland Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth in 2007 a position still occupied by him. He is currently the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Commissioner of District 4. Mr. Butler has influenced thousands of Boy's and Girl's young live's both Athletically and Academically. On April 8, 1998 the City of Oakland and Mayor Elihu M. Harris Proclaimed that Louie Butler Day! Mr. Butler is a true legend of the game!!
